“I am writing in reference to the surgical procedure you performed on me inserting an Ahmed tube and reservoir in my right eye on April 23, 2019.
The purpose of this procedure was to provide a more permanent reduction in the interocular pressure to help avoid damage to the eye from glaucoma.
I am pleased that the whole procedure was performed in a very professional way both by you and the staff at the surgery center. I found the procedure to be both painless and lasting less than half an hour. After a brief recover time from the sedation, my friend drove me home.
I am pleased to report that there was never any pain following the surgery and I immediately resumed my normal activities with the only constraint avoiding lifting more than 10 pounds to prevent tearing the stitches in the eye.
I want to thank you for doing an outstanding job in taking care of an important issue to my vision. I have recommended a friend to you for this same surgery and he has an appointment to see you. This is an indication of my satisfaction with your services and quality of care.
